Online Piano Lessons with a Real Teacher vs YouTube
Updated: 3 days ago
Short answer: YouTube helps you hear ideas and stay motivated. It cannot watch your child's hands, fix posture in the moment, or build a week-by-week plan. Online piano at TIGA Studio is live 1:1 with Teacher Aum—same continuity as studio lessons, just over video.
What a real online teacher does that videos cannot?
Sees hand shape and seating through the camera and corrects immediately
Answers questions in real time (English available when families need it)
Sets practice that matches school workload
Keeps one teacher relationship so progress compounds
When YouTube still helps?
Use clips for inspiration or to review a concept after a lesson. They should support—not replace—guided practice, especially for beginners and busy international-school kids.
